  • Understanding issues of confidentiality
  • Identifying aspects of the office environment that create safety and make a space welcoming
  • Identifying and beginning to address barriers specific to the care of adolescents with SUD

This section provides some ideas for consideration to help you think about implementation of the material in your own practice.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes completing the evaluation surveys at the end of the asynchronous material (and the Live/In-person session), enables the learner to earn MOC points from the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.

It is the CME activity provider’s (Maine AAP) responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit. We collect the required information from you in the survey evaluation (see link accompanying this information). An 80% pass rate is required for eligibility of MOC credit.
